Job Description

• Engaging person-centred active support in personal care, domestic assistance and social activities for clients
• Working hours will be varied, potentially sleepovers
• Develop and implement engaging programs and assist the client with access to the community
• Utilise your personal experience to provide emotional support, inspire, listen ear and connect to help disabilities and elderly people navigate challenges.
• Collaborate with our team to create a welcoming and inclusive environment.
• Adapt service delivery and support as appropriate to meet participant needs and goals while following the support plan in place while following the support plan in place
• Promote and assist clients to live an active, healthy and positive lifestyle
• Follow all organisational policies, regulations and procedures
• Any other reasonable duties as required

Essential Requirements

• Previous experience working as support worker or similar is preferred.
• Current valid Driver’s License and access to a reliable vehicle
• Good communication skills by English
• High level of time management and organizational ability
• Certificate III and above in Aged Care or Individual Support or Community Service or Disability will be an advantage.
• Satisfactory Australian National Police check, Working with Children Check, NDIS worker screening check or willing to obtain these documents.
• Current or willing to obtain a First Aid and CPR certificate.

Pay: From $31.46 per hour
