The casual hourly rate will depend on Teaching and Vocational qualifications and experience and will range from $86.15 - $93.08 per hour for Teaching and $58.56 - $63.23 per hour for Non- Teaching.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
We are seeking experienced teachers to join the Industry Training team on a casual basis to teach and assess units from FBP30521 Certificate III in Baking and FBP30421 in Bread Baking within Vocational Education and Training (VET) programs across the Institute, including workplace and on campus delivery. There may be an opportunity for domestic and international travel to conduct skills assessments, if desired.
This position also requires travel within the wider metropolitan Melbourne area to visit students at their workplace.

KEY SELECTION CRITIERIA
Please write one paragraph for each Key Selection Criteria, explaining how you meet the Selection Criteria based on your current/previous work and life experience:
- Applicants require a vocational qualification in a relevant vocational area of Bread Baking and approved industry experience.
- Minimum teaching qualification of Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE 40116).
- Demonstrated ability and experience to plan, teach and assess in a range of units in the FBP training package or accredited curriculum, in the areas of FBP30521 Certificate III in Baking and FBP30421 in Bread Baking.
- Ability to research and develop appropriate teaching materials and methods of assessment, and adapt delivery and assessment to meet student needs using appropriate technology in a diverse teaching environment.
- Knowledge of current trends in the Food Processing industry particularly within the bread baking sector and a network of industry contacts.
- Demonstrated behaviours that align with the William Angliss Institute Values.
