Position Purpose
The Central Donor Services Manager plays a strategic and operational leadership role in delivering exceptional donor and surrogacy services across City Fertility’s national brands. With responsibility for team performance, compliance, stakeholder engagement and service innovation, this role ensures the integrity and quality of donor programs in alignment with Australian legislation and ethical standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor the Central Donor Team to ensure operational efficiency, accuracy and exceptional service delivery.
- Act as the technical expert and escalation point for complex cases, complaints and urgent operational needs.
- Oversee donor workflow, database management and compliance with ART legislation and internal protocols.
- Coordinate import/export of donor gametes in line with national and international standards.
- Deliver training programs and support capability development across clinics and donor teams.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, policy implementation and strategic project delivery.
- Maintain strong stakeholder relationships with clinicians, patients, suppliers and executive leadership.
Key Criteria
Demonstrated experience in leading and managing teams within a healthcare or allied health environment, combined with the proven ability to foster a positive team culture aligned with organisational values and to lead change and continuous improvement initiatives.
Strong capability in managing departmental operations, including workflow optimisation, database management, policy and procedure implementation, stakeholder engagement and project delivery.
Capacity to ensure departmental compliance with regulatory requirements, internal protocols and accreditation standards, while promoting a culture of quality and safety. Sound understanding of donor services, assisted reproductive technology and IVF terminology, including relevant state and Australian legislation relating to IVF, donor and surrogacy services is highly regarded.
Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients, patients, clinicians, internal departments, external suppliers and executive leadership, fostering strong collaborative relationships.
Proficiency in database systems, process mapping and MS Office applications, combined with the ability to quickly gain advanced knowledge of City Fertility’s protocols, systems and quality requirements.
