About the role
The Change Analyst is responsible for supporting the planning, coordination, and execution of organizational change initiatives. This role works closely with project teams, stakeholders, and leadership to assess the impact of changes, ensure effective communication, and facilitate smooth adoption of new processes, technologies, and ways of working. The Change Analyst plays a key role in minimizing disruption, maximizing employee engagement, and ensuring that change initiatives meet their intended business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct change impact assessments to identify the effects of proposed changes on people, processes, and systems.
- Assist in developing and delivering change management strategies, plans, and activities.
- Support the creation of stakeholder engagement and communication plans to ensure consistent messaging across the organization.
- Track and analyze change readiness, adoption, and resistance through surveys, focus groups, and feedback mechanisms.
- Maintain documentation and reporting on change management activities, risks, and issues.
- Collaborate with training teams to design and deliver learning materials and support resources.
- Provide support to Change Managers, Project Managers, and business leaders in implementing change initiatives.
- Monitor and report on key change metrics to ensure initiatives are on track and outcomes are achieved.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in change management practices.
Criteria for Selection
- Should have experience in conducting impact assessments to identify areas of change to be addressed.
- Should have experience in the preparation of the change and adoption strategy.
- Should have experience in working with change management tools and methodologies.
- Should have experience preparing written reports and process maps, and proposing business solutions.
- Should have experience in focusing on the people side of change, including changes to business processes, systems and technology, job roles and organisation structures.
- Should have experience creating documentation to increase employee awareness and promote productivity and ensure user adoption of deployed services. Including informative and interesting communication releases, newsletters, and related marketing materials.
- Should have experience in organisational change readiness assessment and stakeholder engagement.
- Should have experience in collaborating effectively with key stakeholders.
- Should have proven experience facilitating workshops or sessions with diverse audiences and stakeholders. Confidence in conducting engagement sessions to large audiences.
- Should have experience in delivering training programs.
- Should have advanced skills in communicating qualitative and quantitative information in a creative and innovative format.
