We are on the look out for a special kind of person. Someone who loves working with children aged between 2-3 years. The only catch is, this person must hold a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and be looking for full time work and have at least 1 year of full time relevant work experience.
This role works closely with educators, children and families to provide excellent care and prepare the children to enter their school years. The successful applicant will be the Room Leader and have the following responsibilities within the room -
· Working in accordance with Mosaic’s policies and procedures
. Adhering to the Code of Ethics (Early Childhood Australia Inc.).
· Complying with the National Quality Framework
· Keeping up to date and conforming with Child Protection Legislation
· Advocating for the rights of children
· Committing to the Assessment and Rating process, inclusive of continuous improvement with Mosaic’s quality improvement plan
· Following Mosaics philosophy and Early Years Learning Framework
· Keeping up to date with current development in Early Childhood
· Maintain ability to use technology.
· Completing any other duties within the scope of the position as specified by management
. Assisting in the room with administrative duties as required
. Be responsible for supervising staff, children
. As well as preparing the program for the room.
