What you’ll do
- Manage a portfolio of claims from lodgement to resolution
- Assess claims for reasonable and appropriate treatment and rehabilitation needs
- Investigate claims and interpret medical documents with a focus on proactive claims management
- Ensure legislative compliance timeframes are met in conjunction with following all internal policies and procedures
- Provide an excellent level of customer service to all internal and external stakeholders
- Calculate settlement offers, negotiate settlements and attend settlement conferences with lawyers and Counsel
- Display behaviours that contribute and drive a positive culture
What you’ll bring
- Experience in CTP claims, legal roles (paralegal, legal assistant, law clerk), or high-volume customer-focused administration.
- Confident negotiator with excellent communication skills, able to manage difficult or sensitive conversations professionally.
- Highly organised with exceptional time management and the ability to prioritise effectively.
- Resilient, empathetic, and motivated to build a long-term career in claims advisory.
- Comfortable learning new systems and processes.
- Able to attend in-person training located in Brisbane City QLD.
- Customer-service focused and capable of collaborating with diverse stakeholders including lawyers, healthcare providers, and claimants.
