Your Opportunity
This role reports to the Building Manager and will ensure that all cleaning meets the current and relevant regulations and legislation under the Aged Care Standards.
This role involves routine cleaning, infection control, and supporting the comfort and dignity of our residents.
Shift details: Saturday and Sunday morning shifts 6:30 am.
Your key responsibilities will be to:
- Responsible for the cleaning and presentation of the facility
- Ensure infection control procedures are followed
- Report risks or potential risks for residents in the facility
- Represent Mission Australia to external contacts at all opportunities
- Operate in line with Mission Australia and the Aged Care Division policies and procedure
Requirements for Success
- Cleaning experience in an Aged Care facility or similar would be desirable
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Be able to work supervised and/or unsupervised at times
- Have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Have a positive attitude and a willingness to learn
- COVID current booster and Flu vaccine mandatory
