About the Position

The Shire is seeking a full time cleaner for Onslow for an immediate start upon completion of pre-employment checks.
As a valued member of our small and supportive Facilities team, you'll play a key role in maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of Shire buildings, facilities, and public amenities - helping to create a welcoming and safe environment for both staff and the community.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Undertake housekeeping, schedules, and required cleaning duties of Shire buildings and facilities
- Ensure a high level of hygiene and cleanliness for other employees and the public
- Undertake required cleaning duties in a timely manner
- Various ad hoc duties and activities, as required, to assist the Shire team
What You’ll Bring:
- A friendly, approachable manner with an eagerness to work
- Knowledge of commercial cleaning methods, products and equipment
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- A valid C Class Australian Driver’s Licence
