You’ll play a crucial part in ensuring our facilities remain clean, welcoming, and hygienic for both staff and patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide a high standard of cleaning throughout the health service, including mopping, vacuuming, polishing floors, dusting, and window cleaning.
- Change curtains, clean sanitary areas, and maintain cleanliness in non-patient areas and toilets.
- Perform bed making, waste collection, removal, and disposal.
- Assist with the loading, unloading, and transport of linen and equipment.
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven ability to work effectively within a team and interact with staff at all levels.
- Flexibility to work with different rosters and settings.
- Strong time-management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to relate to people from diverse backgrounds.
- Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality.
- Basic knowledge of safe working conditions, Food Safety Standards, and Infection Control processes.
- Experience in housekeeping, cooking, catering, or laundry is advantageous but not essential.
- Competence in using Microsoft Word, Excel, and other computer programs.
