We currently have full time role available for Cleaner to join the Spotless team at the Yongah Hill Immigration Detention Centre. Spotless, as a subcontractor to Secure Journeys, will be responsible for general cleaning (vacuuming, mopping, touch point cleaning, etc) at facilities contributing to the overall health and well-being of those in the centre.
What you’ll do
The role has a broad remit, with key responsibilities outlined below:
- General cleaning of designated areas (vacuuming, mopping, touch-point cleaning etc)
- Manual handling and lifting of equipment
- Removal of rubbish
What you’ll bring
- Experience operating industrial cleaning equipment (desirable)
- Demonstrated cleaning experience, ideally in a commercial environment
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills
- Highly developed attention to detail
