ABOUT THE ROLE
We are currently seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Clinic Administration Officer/Medical Screener to join our team at the Brisbane Airport Clinic, (The Turrbal and Yuggera People) on a Full-time basis. Reporting directly to the Practice Manager, this dynamic role will involve a variety of tasks and responsibilities aimed at supporting the efficient operation of the clinic. As the Clinic Administration Officer/Medical Screener, you will be the first point of contact for our patients, providing essential administrative support while ensuring the smooth running of medical screening processes. You will manage customer interactions, assist with patient scheduling, handle medical records, and contribute to the overall clinic experience.
DUTIES
The responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to:
- Greet patients, provide them with relevant information, and assist them in completing necessary documentation
- Performing medical screening duties as required, ensuring accurate collection of medical history and other necessary details
- Manage patient bookings, appointments, and inquiries, both in person and over the phone
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and ensure compliance with privacy and confidentiality regulations
- Assist in managing patient flow and ensure timely processing of patients
- Provide administrative support, including data entry, filing, and managing incoming and outgoing correspondence
- Coordinate with medical and administrative staff to ensure a smooth and efficient clinic operation
- Provide exceptional customer service, handling patient inquiries with professionalism and care
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
The successful candidate will:
- Previous experience in a medical administration or customer facing role is desirable
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a busy environment
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy in managing medical records
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to privacy regulations
- Proficiency in using office software and medical management systems
- Current CPR Certificate
- A friendly, compassionate, and professional demeanor when interacting with patients
