We are seeking a full-time Commercial Cleaner to join our repudiable commercial
cleaning company AYN Services. We are dedicated to providing exceptional cleaning
services to businesses in Townsville. We take pride in transforming commercial
buildings, exteriors, and office spaces into pristine spaces. AYN Services is the one-
stop service provider for thorough commercial cleaning and office cleaning, including
soft wash and high-pressure cleaning services in Townsville.
The Role:
As a full-time Commercial Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness
and sanitation standards in various commercial facilities. Your primary duties will
include, but are not limited to:
- Performing general cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and
dusting
- Emptying trash receptacles and disposing of waste properly
- Cleaning and disinfecting restrooms, break rooms, and other common areas
Spot cleaning walls, windows, and glass surfaces
- Operating cleaning equipment and machinery safely and efficiently
- Following established cleaning protocols and safety procedures
- Notifying management of any maintenance or repair needs
- Ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations
Required Skills and Experience:
- AQF Certificate I, or completion of secondary education or equivalent
- At least one year of full-time proven experience as a commercial cleaner or similar
role
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and techniques
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality
- Physical stamina and the ability to perform repetitive tasks
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a
team
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
We are offering a full-time position and ongoing position of employment. Salary will be
commensurate with experience, in the vicinity of $60,000 to $80,000.
