The Opportunity
Reporting to the Director, Commercial this role will provide high quality support to the Director, Commercial and the Commercial and Procurement team across a range of program-wide commercial, financial, contractual, and procurement matters.
Activities include contract administration and management, development of administration processes, preparation and review of documents, scheduling and coordination of meetings, management of formal communications, and provision of advice and support to stakeholders. What you will deliver
- Deliver contract administration support and advice through tasks such as document preparation and editing, meeting coordination and participation, managing formal correspondence, and providing general assistance to the Director, Commercial and the broader Commercial Team
- Support a range of commercial, financial, contractual, and procurement activities, ensuring consistency and alignment with best practices across VicGrid's programs
- Play a key role in shaping procurement outcomes—supporting tender preparation, contract negotiations and evaluations, andsecuring approvals across VicGrid and government stakeholders
- Support project and business case development across VicGrid's programs by contributing to procurement strategies, financial modelling, and identifying funding and financing requirements
What you will bring
- Strong written communication skills, with the ability to prepare, edit, and proofread high-quality correspondence, presentations, reports, and other documents with exceptional attention to detail. You'll also be confident in developing project plans and conducting research, analysis, and evaluation of information.
- Experience managing records and systems, including team documentation, financial and procurement records, and electronic document management systems such as ECM (or similar platforms).
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft 365, particularly Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, Outlook, and SharePoint. Experience with Power BI is highly desirable.
