This roster is a 9 day fortnight. Working at 38 hour week

About the role
Reporting to the Communications and Engagement Superintendent, the Community and Engagement Advisor plays a key role in building and nurturing relationships between Northparkes and its stakeholders. This role supports the delivery of internal and external communications, manages community engagement activities, and helps implement the site’s Communication and Engagement Plan. You will support neighbour communications, community meetings and events, manage social media content, and contribute to the promotion of Northparkes’ achievements and milestones.
Key responsibilities include:
Maintaining collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Coordinating neighbour communications and supporting community meetings
Managing the Northparkes Facebook page and contributing content to Evolution’s digital platforms
Supporting the delivery of internal communications, including the fortnightly Bulletin
Assisting with media enquiries and developing proactive stories
Coordinating community programs such as the Volunteer Program and Community Equipment Pool
Supporting the organisation of events, exhibitions, and site tours
Monitoring and reporting on the Community Investment Program
Assisting with budget tracking and invoice processing
Promoting a safe and inclusive workplace aligned with Evolution’s values
About you
The ideal candidate will have a degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related field, along with strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills. You will be confident working across digital platforms, including social media, and have experience in community engagement or media. A NSW Driver’s Licence is required, and familiarity with the Central West region is desirable. You are organised, proactive, and passionate about building positive relationships between industry and community.
