Salary: $77,514.91 base salary plus an additional $11,627.24 per annum (15% shift allowance) + Superannuation

Are you passionate about community safety and making a real difference in your local area? The City of Stirling is seeking a dedicated Community Patrol Officer to join our Community Safety team. This is your opportunity to be part of a highly visible and responsive service that contributes to a safer and more secure lifestyle for our residents.

About the Role

As a Community Patrol Officer, you will:

  • Patrol designated areas to deter and report crime and antisocial behaviour.
  • Respond to community safety concerns including graffiti, damage, obstructions, and suspicious activity.
  • Attend to building alarms, complaints, and calls for service.
  • Liaise with WA Police and other stakeholders to share intelligence and support safety initiatives.
  • Operate mobile technology and CCTV systems to monitor and respond to incidents.
  • Support ranger services and contribute to high-demand operations.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Certificate II in Security Operations.
  • A current WA Security Officer’s Licence.
  • Experience in mobile patrols, alarm response, and CCTV operations.
  • Strong communication and conflict resolution skills.
  • A customer-focused approach with the ability to engage confidently with the community.
  • A current WA ‘C’ Class Driver’s Licence and National Police Clearance (under 3 months).
