Your role as a Systems Technician:
You will have responsibility for leading the following activities and undertaking the following key tasks:
Participate in and be a member of an IT support service team ensuring that the team provides a high level of service and issue resolution in line with agreed performance standards.
Ensure that agreed levels of service are maintained and contribute to the ongoing development of standardised processes required for the provision of IT support.
Install and maintain systemic management and educational delivery systems in accordance with departmental information standards and policies.
Provide expert IT advice and support on the selection, procurement and installation of new hardware and software, as well as the enhancement of existing systems.
Advise, communicate, apply and monitor the implementation of departmental information standards and policies.
Participate in service level and work practice reviews.
Maintain currency of technical proficiency and skills
The Right Fit:
Skills in the following areas will be highly regarded:
A detailed working knowledge of Windows 2016 and above server operating systems.
A high level of technical knowledge of server hardware and configuration, and network switches.
A good understanding of end user device and printer support.
Knowledge of Windows 11 and above, iPadOS, and macOS.
A C class drivers licence due to travel required between base location and schools on a regular basis.
Travel and overnight absences from base may be required of this position.
