Job Title: Construction Supervisor

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Construction Supervisor to join our growing team in Waga Waga. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of construction on-site, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate day-to-day site operations for residential and/or commercial construction projects.
- Manage subcontractors, tradespeople, and labourers to ensure work is performed according to project plans and specifications.
- Monitor project progress and prepare daily or weekly reports for stakeholders.
- Conduct site inspections to enforce safety protocols, quality control, and environmental standards.
- Schedule and coordinate deliveries of materials and equipment.
- Liaise with project managers, engineers, architects, and suppliers to resolve issues and keep projects on track.
- Ensure all works comply with relevant building codes, WHS regulations, and council requirements.
- Handle on-site problem solving and make decisions to minimize delays.
- Maintain accurate records including site diaries, timesheets, and variation logs.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Construction Supervisor or Foreman, ideally in residential or commercial construction.
- Trade qualification in carpentry, building, or a related field (Cert IV in Building & Construction preferred).
- Strong understanding of Australian building codes, WHS regulations, and Sydney local council requirements.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Valid NSW White Card and driver’s licence.
Desirable:
- First Aid Certification.
- Experience with digital project management tools (e.g., Procore, Buildertrend, PlanGrid).
- Experience in supervising multi-dwelling or high-rise projects.
