Northern Health are seeking applications from motivated and suitably experienced Consultant Haematologist to join the Malignant Haematology and Clinical Trials team.
Northern Health is the major provider of acute, maternity, sub-acute, mental health, specialist, community and home-based services in Melbourne’s rapidly growing outer north.
Services are provided through our five main campuses:
Northern Hospital Epping, Broadmeadows Hospital, Bundoora Centre, Craigieburn Centre, and Kilmore District Hospital. In addition, Mental Health Services are provided at Epping, Broadmeadows, Jacana, Preston, Mill Park and Coburg.
About the Role:
The Haematology Consultant – Malignant and Clinical Trials position is responsible for:
- Outpatient clinic Monday PM (Epping campus)
- 0.2 EFT clinical support time for clinical trial activities and administrative duties
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Experience and good working knowledge of Lymphoid malignancies (in particular lymphoma, myeloma and amyloidosis) with experience in clinical trials and the delivery of BiTEs, CAR-T and ASCT
- Demonstrated research skills by completing post-graduate studies and/or delivering investigator-led research
- Well-developed leadership skills
- Enthusiasm for innovation
