Contract Administrator

Design & Build - Sydney NSW

Leading Commercial Builder seeks an experienced Contract Administrator for upcoming projects based in Sydney. They specialise in Apartments and the majority of their work is in North Sydney.

This business has been established by a small team who come from large-scale project backgrounds and are going through a growth phase due to their continued success.

As the Contract Administrator you will be responsible for:

  • Preparation of subcontractor packages, scopes, lettings, procurement schedules
  • Progress claim assistance and external variations
  • Review, negotiation and finalisation of subcontracts
  • Management and tracking of project expenditure, inclusive of subcontractor claim
  • Administration of RFIs to clients, architects and consultants
  • Administration of the project HSE system
  • Estimating and assisting management with pricing up new projects
To be considered for the position of Contract Administrator you will require:
  • Minimum 3 years' experience as a Contracts Administrator for a Commercial Builder in Australia
  • Jobpac software experience essential
  • Estimating experience highly regarded
  • Experience of working on Apartment/Resi projects in Australia
  • Knowledge of NSW construction market and subcontractors
  • Strong attention for detail and proven communication skills
