Responsibilities: As a Courtesy Bus Driver at Gateshead Tavern, your primary responsibility will be to transport our valued customers safely to and from the tavern. You will play a crucial role in ensuring their comfort and satisfaction by providing a friendly and professional service. Your responsibilities will include:
- Operating the courtesy bus in a safe and efficient manner, following all traffic rules and regulations.
- Assisting customers with getting on and off the bus, ensuring their safety.
- Greeting customers with a warm and friendly attitude, creating a positive first impression.
- Answering customer inquiries and providing information about the tavern and its services.
- Maintaining cleanliness and tidiness on the bus, ensuring a pleasant environment for passengers.
- Cooperating with tavern staff to ensure seamless coordination of schedules and pick-up/drop-off locations.
- Reporting any vehicle maintenance or repair needs promptly to the appropriate authorities.
Requirements: To be considered for the Courtesy Bus Driver position, you should meet the following requirements:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Current NSW RSA Certification
- Excellent customer service skills and a friendly demeanour.
- Good communication skills to interact effectively with customers and tavern staff.
- Familiarity with local traffic regulations and routes.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Prior experience as a bus driver or in a similar role is preferred but not mandatory.
