Full-Time | $112,018.96 - $ 128,821.80 plus 11.5 % superannuation

In this role, you will:
- Drive arts, events and placemaking projects that bring joy and purpose to public spaces
- Develop and implement creative, community-driven place activation strategies
- Collaborate with local businesses, artists and residents to create shared, meaningful experiences
- Build partnerships, sponsorships and commercial opportunities that elevate Waverley’s cultural footprint
- Empower the community to lead their own events through supportive activation pathways
What you’ll bring
- Enthusiastic, dynamic and adaptable attitude to program delivery and innovation, ability to develop new ideas from scratch and enhance existing programs
- Experience working within events management and program design
- Experience in building partnerships and relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to demonstrate a high capacity for decision-making skills, initiative, creative approaches to problem solving, and working collaboratively
- Proven experience in financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and achieving revenue targets
- Significant equivalent experience in developing and delivering live performance-based cultural programs that support artists and engage diverse audiences
