As Credit Risk Manager –Business Bank, you will play a key role in shaping credit policies and managing risk appetite across the business banking portfolio to ensure credit risk is effectively managed. You will work closely with senior stakeholders and Line 1 teams to provide recommendations and corrective actions that keep credit risks aligned with ING’s framework . You will play an important role to shape and execute ING’s digital transformation objectives alongside our business partners.
This position requires credit risk expertise across business banking, ensuring that risk assessments, policy frameworks, and governance processes support sustainable decision-making.

What you’ll do
Develop & maintain credit risk policies, ensuring adherence to regulatory frameworks
Set and monitor risk appetite, tracking credit portfolio performance to align with business strategy
Provide expert advisory support, working with business stakeholders on credit decision-making
Oversee governance activities, including committee reporting, risk documentation, and compliance oversight
Support regulatory commitments, ensuring compliance and relevant financial guidelines
Utilise data analytics, leveraging insights to improve credit portfolio management and forecasting
Lead digitisation & automation efforts, streamlining credit assessment processes and risk tracking
Manage stakeholder interactions, collaborating with local and global teams to align risk practices with ING’s wider strategy
What we’re looking for
5+ years of credit risk experience, preferably within business banking
Policy-writing expertise, particularly in credit risk governance and underwriting for business banking
Strong understanding of APS 220, APS 112/113, BCOP, and regulatory frameworks
Independent working style, with the ability to serve as the primary financial risk contact for business lending
Data-driven mindset, experienced in using large datasets to generate insights and improve risk management
Strategic leadership skills, able to advise stakeholders, drive corrective actions, and enhance governance frameworks
