About the Role

Service Stream’s Utilities division are currently seeking a Crew Member to join our growing company.

Nature of position:               Permanent, Full Time

Location:                               Wetherill Park, NSW

Reporting Line:                    Superintendent

As the successful candidate, you will demonstrate the following;

• Ability to work in a team environment, you will be involved in sewer asset construction, maintenance and emergency responses
• Excavate and backfill trenches and manholes manually using hand tools, crowbar and rammer etc.
• Assist in shoring excavations.
• Assist in any other work-related tasks as directed by the Crew Leader.
• Must be vigilant in spotting hazards that may exist or occur and take any necessary steps to control or remove the hazards to ensure the safety of fellow workers and or the general public.  Report any injury immediately to his Crew Leader and take appropriate action to minimise the injury and its effects.
• Clean and maintain tools and equipment.
• Clean work area and truck.
• Load and unload trucks.
• Willing to undertake all compulsory training and competencies i.e. Enter and Work in Confined Spaces & Work Safely at Heights
• After hours emergency work may be requested.

In addition to the above, we require an individual with;

• Construction Industry White Card
• Current NSW Car Licence (MR Licence preferred) and own transport
• 2 years + experience within construction and maintenance is preferred
