Curtain Maker / Factory Assistant

Complete Blinds is a trusted local business specialising in custom-made blinds, curtains, and shutters. We are looking for a motivated and reliable team member to join our Ringwood factory, with a focus on curtain making, sewing, and general factory support.
About the Role
This is a hands-on position involving curtain production and general workshop duties. You’ll be part of a supportive team producing high-quality window furnishings for our valued customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the making and sewing of curtains and soft furnishings
- Measure, cut, and prepare fabrics and materials
- Operate sewing machines and other factory equipment
- Perform general factory duties including packing, assembly, and quality control
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment
- Manufacturing roller blinds and pelmets.
- Support the team with other tasks as required
Skills & Experience
- Experience in sewing or curtain making is highly regarded (but not essential – training provided)
- Strong attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Reliable, punctual, and willing to learn
- Physically capable of handling fabrics and materials
