Customer Sales Officer - Permanent - Perth CBD office
We're on the hunt for a driven Customer Sales Officer to join our team in a new permanent role. You'll be at the heart of our Materials Sales Team building strong customer relationships, uncovering new opportunities, and helping us grow market share and boost unregulated revenue. Your Role in Action
- Own the sales process - manage orders and confirmations for key customers, ensuring smooth, accurate transactions every time.
- Spot opportunities - review market trends, track product performance, and identify hot sales leads to drive growth.
- Be the go-to contact - support customers with forecasts, invoicing, stock levels, and long-term planning needs.
- Keep systems sharp - input orders into the ERP system with speed and precision to keep operations flowing.
- Solve problems fast - handle emergency requisitions (even after hours) and resolve material or logistics issues quickly and effectively.
- Support and streamline - coordinate workshops, training, and site meetings to keep everything running like clockwork.
- Drive performance - generate reports, track customer material collections, and monitor performance to keep targets on track.
- Collaborate for impact - work closely with internal teams and service providers to improve processes, reduce service failures, and build smarter customer solutions.
What Makes You a Great Fit
- Experience in a customer service or account management role, ideally in a dynamic or high-volume setting.
- A solid understanding of supply chain principles and how things move from A to B.
- Familiarity with ERP systems, particularly in inventory or logistics processes.
- A knack for solving problems and improving processes – you don’t just spot issues, you fix them.
- Great communication skills – you're confident writing emails, leading conversations, and building strong relationships.Comfortable using Microsoft Office, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Access (or keen to build on your existing skills).
