About our Opportunity
We’re looking for a Customer Service Officer who will take on this pivotal role focusing on our credits and warranties including credit approvals, warranty investigations and internal stakeholder support. You’ll work closely with the sales team and accounts, managing your own workload and inbox independently. This role is ideal for someone with strong administrative and investigative skills, who enjoys solving problems and asking the right questions. It’s also a fantastic stepping stone for someone looking to grow into a supervisory position in the future.
A typical day will involve:
- Processing credit transactions and managing the credit returns process
- Investigating and validating credit claims to ensure accuracy
- Reporting on credit activities and maintaining inspection registers
- Supporting the sales team with warranty issues and coordinating site inspections
- Collaborating with internal departments including sales, finance, and operations
- Identifying process improvements and contributing to cross-functional initiatives
About You
Ideally you'll have experience in sales or credit processing, ideally within a manufacturing or custom order environment. You'll be a detail-oriented and proactive professional with:
- Strong administrative and investigative skills, with the ability to work independently
- A collaborative mindset and willingness to support internal teams
- Confidence engaging with customers when required, particularly in support of the sales team
- A desire to grow into leadership and take on more responsibility over time
- Proficiency in ERP/CRM systems and MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)
