Are you a people person with a natural ability to communicate with a diverse range of people, and have a friendly, professional attitude? Council is on the lookout for a vibrant and dedicated Customer Service Officer to be the friendly face and trusted voice our community relies on.
This is a fixed-term, part-time role for 2 days a week (Monday and Tuesday, 9am–3pm), to 23 December 2025—perfect for work-life balance.
There may also be an opportunity for candidates to join our casual bank, which is used to cover short-term staff absences in administration and customer service roles across Council.

The role will include, but is not limited to:
- directing incoming calls to appropriate departments
- directing enquiries made over the counter
- cashier duties
- undertaking other general administration duties as directed.
The successful candidate will:
- have a strong customer service focus
- create a positive customer experience for all
- be competent in the use of computer information systems
