Key Responsibilities:
The key purpose of a Customer Service Officer is to ensure the delivery of excellent customer service through accurate and prompt processing of customer orders and queries. Reporting to the Customer Service Lead, responsibilities will include:
- First point of contact for general enquiries, building and maintaining relationships with customers, both internal and external
- Receiving orders via email / phone and data entry
- Coordinating shipments with carriers
- Assisting with administration of loading / unloading, scheduling etc
- Communicating with customers regarding despatch documentation and order confirmation
- Entering data onto system for invoicing and collating weekly & monthly reports
- Inputting and coordinating inventory data into WMS
- Ensuring processes are adhered to for Customer Service, Inventory and Admin teams
- Escalating issues when required and communicating with all relevant customers
- Undertaking a broad range of administration tasks to support the operations
