The Melbourne Cricket Club has the public responsibility of managing one of the largest and the most successful stadiums in Australia and the world – the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG). The MCG is host to more than 70 major events annually, attracting over three million patrons and visitors. Exceptional customer service plays a crucial role in providing a memorable experience to all visitors.
We are looking for enthusiastic car park customer service attendants who are friendly, passionate about the MCG, Melbourne and our sporting culture to work as Customer Service Attendants in Yarra Park precinct.
To be successful in this role, it is essential that you have:
- Previous experience providing excellent service and/or in an event operations role.
- High quality verbal communication skills and high standards of personal presentation.
- The capability to direct traffic and park vehicles (this role is based in the Yarra Park)
- The ability to work in a range of locations across the precinct including outdoors in Yarra Park within the car park or G-Train locations.
To ensure the MCC can meet its staffing requirements for every event, it is essential that you can meet all of the following requirements:
- Be available to work a minimum of 30 events offered during the calendar year (1st January – 31st December) inclusive of eight (8) Marquee events.
- Are over the age of 18 by 22 October 2025.
- Be available to attend an interview between 2:00pm and 6:00on on 9 October 2025.
- Be available to complete induction session and car park training in the evening of 22 October 2025.
- Be available for on job training on 18 December 2025.
