Do you have a passion for Cyber Security & ready for your next challenge. Rabobank has an opening for a Cyber Threat & Vulnerability Associate Analyst in Sydney. In this role you will assist in identifying existing & emerging vulnerabilities & threats relevant to the bank, make risk-based assessments based on knowledge of our environment to prioritise our resources effectively.
Top Role Accountabilities:
- Develop & produce vulnerability reports & mitigation plans
- Create statistical reporting from data & perform analysis to highlight risks & impediments
- Assist in reviewing vulnerability scan data & making risk-based assessments, based on the banks production environment, to determine remediation priority
- Assist engineers working on vulnerability remediation in building advisories & facilitating communication of those advisories to application, service & infrastructure teams
- Coordinate with application, service & infrastructure teams to ensure timely remediation of vulnerabilities
- Liaise with global, regional & local stakeholders to ensure procedural efficiency & tooling operability for anything vulnerability management related
To be successful in this role you will have:
- A minimum of 2 years IT experience
- Knowledge of common concepts, standards & frameworks in vulnerability management, such as CVSS
- An understanding of vulnerability management within enterprise hybrid & multi-cloud environments highly regarded
- Experience with vulnerability scanning tooling, such as Qualys VMDR highly regarded
- An ability to manipulate & analyse data sets, such as in Excel or Power BI
- Good understanding of Windows & Linux operating systems
- General understanding of network concepts, such as DNS, proxies, subnetting
- An ability & willingness to work outside normal working hours as required
