About the role
Mandurah Baptist College invites applications from outstanding Christian educators to the position of Dean of Teaching & Learning (Primary) from the commencement of the 2026 school year.
The Dean of Teaching & Learning (Primary) is a pivotal role in the College’s leadership structure, reporting to the Head of Primary and being responsible for the management and oversight of teaching and learning in the Primary School, including oversight of the Heads of Learning Area team.
The Dean of Teaching & Learning (Primary) will have an outstanding knowledge of curriculum, pedagogy, school systems, data analysis and wider educational trends, and have a proven track record of working with teams to create high-performing cultures that promote student learning. Working in collaboration with the Deans of Early Learning and Upper Primary to direct classroom practice, the Dean of Teaching & Learning (Primary) has direct oversight of the Learning Support Coordinator, Education Assistants and Specialist teaching staff.
The Primary School at Mandurah Baptist College caters for 700 students from Pre Kindergarten through to Year 6. Facilities include an award-winning Early Learning Centre, opened in 2020, Upper Primary classes, specialist facilities, sports facilities and The Lakes Theatre, all working together to enable the College to deliver an excellent, Christian-based education.
