Our specialist dental practice in the heart of Orange is expanding! We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced dental assistant to join us on a part-time basis (2 days per week).
About the role
You will work with our dental specialists, therapists and be a part of our dynamic and friendly team. Your main responsibilities will include:
- Providing chairside assistance to doctors and therapists
- Adhering to strict infection control guidelines and protocols
- Treatment coordination to assist and ensure efficiency for our patients
- Scheduling and confirming appointments
- Performing reception duties as required
- Building and maintaining relationships with patients, their families and our referrer network.
- Precise patient note taking using practice management software.
About you
You will ideally possess:
- Certificate III in Dental Assisting (advantageous)
- A vibrant, outgoing and positive personality
- The ability to work extended clinical hours as required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- The desire to work hard and as part of the team.
