Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Dental Technician to fabricate, repair, and customize dental prosthetics, including provisional crowns, provisional bridges, provisional dentures, surgical guides and orthodontic appliances. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, strong technical skills, and a commitment to producing high-quality dental restorations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Fabricate and repair dental prosthetics (crowns, bridges, dentures, veneers, etc.) based on dentist prescriptions.
- Work with various materials, including resin and digital CAD/CAM systems.
- Ensure accuracy in shade matching, shape, and fit of dental appliances.
- Follow laboratory safety and sterilization protocols.
- Collaborate with dentists and team members to meet patient needs.
- Maintain equipment and keep up with advancements in dental technology.
- Adhere to quality control standards and deadlines.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Certification or diploma in Dental Technology (or equivalent experience).
- years of experience in a dental laboratory setting.
- Proficiency in traditional and/or digital dental fabrication techniques (CAD/CAM knowledge is a plus).
- Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
- Ability to interpret dental impressions and prescriptions accurately.
- Knowledge of dental materials and laboratory safety procedures.
- Team player with good communication skills.
