Job Description
What you’ll do:
We seek a hands-on tech lead to develop and improve our cloud and platform services. These platforms are crucial for enhancing developer experience and user engagement, contributing to business growth.
- Create proof-of-concept prototypes that assess the feasibility of solutions and demonstrate how technology can be leveraged.
- As an owner of our key platforms, lead the architecture and design of our software as well as the performing technical analysis of requirements for work item generation and estimation, you will drive the technical roadmap for DevOps and cloud .
- Engineer solutions to drive operational maturity and efficiencies. Use your AWS \ bash \ Terraform skills to express solutions to improve our existing and new automation requirements.
- This is tech-focused role where you will be Improving the resiliency of DevOps platforms through continuous improvements.
- Manage and own existing cloud networking solutions and maintain the exiting cloud network system.
- Provide on-call and after-hours support as required and actively participate in the Post incident review meetings.
- You will be an influencer and contributor within the squad. Using your technical expertise and in-depth knowledge of the ecosystem, you will be architecting and building an end-to-end digital customer experience.
Qualifications
What are we looking for?
Critical to success in the role is the ability to operate in the liminal space between business, data and technical practice
- Extensive experience in AWS/cloud networking, including the design, implementation, and management of VPCs, VPC peering, and transit gateways.
- Experience managing AWS environments, including ECS, Lambda, API Gateway, S3, EC2, Cloudfront, and CloudWatch at scale.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize bot management, traffic routing, and security policies using AWS WAF, Datadome or similar tools.
- Experienced with CI/CD platforms like GitHub Actions and implementing pipelines for containerized applications. Created and maintained continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to automate testing, build, and release cycles.
- Ability to autonomously drive large platform upliftment projects with minimal oversight, demonstrated leadership in initiating and executing major projects from conception to completion independently, efficiently coordinated cross-functional teams, managed timelines, and delivered high-quality results on time and within budget.
- Understanding of microservices architecture and background in application development or operation support with solid knowledge of .NET and Docker is preferred.
