The Opportunity
We are currently seeking Dewatering Technicians to join our team at Mount Marion, one of our owner-operated lithium mine sites. This full-time position is offered on a 2/2 roster.
As a Dewatering Technician, you will play a vital role in managing water supply for the processing plant, with a focus on operating and maintaining in-ground bore systems. Your responsibilities will include monitoring water levels, pump performance, and overall system efficiency; conducting diagnostics, fault finding, and repairs; and supporting preventative maintenance and critical spare parts planning. You will also be required to operate vacuum trucks for liquid waste removal, including septic systems, and perform poly welding as needed. Collaboration with the maintenance team to promptly resolve technical issues is essential to this role.
What you’ll bring
- Demonstrated safety commitment.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in water management and supply
- Ability to work both as part of the team and autonomously in the field.
- Experience operating vacuum trucks
- Current Australian Driver’s Licence
- Poly Welding ticket
- Skid-steer operator ticket
- Plumbing experience and/or licence (desirable)
- Full Australian working rights

About Mount Marion
Mt Marion is located 40km southwest of Kalgoorlie in the Goldfields region of Western Australia. MinRes manages all mining activities at Mt Marion, including a spodumene concentrate processing plant with an annual production capacity of 600,000 tonnes (SC6 equivalent).
