Help us deliver a better tomorrow
Australia Post is delivering for all Australians. From the vehicles that we drive, to the small businesses that make our communities thrive. We’re delivering for the environment, for our communities, for our customers and for our people. We’re moving forward and we want you to come along for the ride.
Help us deliver like never before
We're hiring for a Digital Analyst to join our Marketing Technology team.
As a Digital Analyst directly supporting our Platform and Producer teams, you’ll deliver actionable insights and reporting across our digital platforms using Adobe Analytics, Fullstory, and Google Analytics. You’ll work closely with stakeholders to understand customer behaviour and help shape the evolution of our websites and mobile apps. Your insights will drive data-led decisions that enhance customer experience, support our omnichannel strategy, and foster collaboration across business, data, and tech teams.
This role is key to driving a data-led approach to enhancing customer experience across Australia Post’s digital platforms. You’ll foster collaboration, share insights, and ensure data is used effectively to inform marketing and experience strategies while supporting the activation of data-driven capabilities aligned with our omnichannel strategy.
This is a great opportunity to drive data-led decision making, shape digital customer experiences, and collaborate across teams to deliver meaningful insights that support Australia Post’s omnichannel strategy.
This is a 12-month fixed term opportunity.
What you’ll deliver with us
- Collaborate with Platform, Producer, and Marketing teams to understand customer behaviour across digital touchpoints.
- Deliver actionable insights and analysis using tools like Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, Fullstory, and BigQuery.
- Design, build, and maintain reusable dashboards that track key customer journeys and KPIs.
- Identify and explore customer friction points through behavioural data.
- Provide advisory support and promote data literacy across stakeholder groups.
- Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Contribute to Australia Post’s digital and data capability by developing, documenting, and sharing analytics-driven insights.
About You
You’re passionate about delivering digital analytics insights that drive meaningful outcomes, ideally within complex organisations such as logistics, retail, eCommerce, or adjacent industries. You’re confident working with a range of analytics tools and approaches, including Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, Fullstory, and supplementing captured digital data with transactional data from Google Cloud Platform. You have a strong grasp of Agile or Kanban methodologies (Jira preferred), and a critical mindset for troubleshooting data quality issues and validating business processes against available data.
Your stakeholder management and communication skills are well developed, allowing you to navigate a highly cross-functional environment and prioritise effectively. You understand digital analytics trends, evolving data privacy requirements, and the end-to-end analytics lifecycle, from measurement planning to data collection and visualisation.
You’ll also bring
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues.
- Experience with data collection and validation, Adobe Data Collection (Launch) preferred.
- Skilled at building relationships and interfacing with technical teams, business stakeholders, and third-party service providers to ensure seamless operations.
- Able to visualise data using a variety of approaches and platforms appropriate to the audience level
- Some experience with or understanding of SQL and Google BigQuery.
