The Raine Study is one of the world’s most comprehensive longitudinal cohort studies, based in Western Australia. It has been tracking the health and development of participants from before birth into adulthood, generating invaluable insights into human health across the lifespan. With a rich repository of biosamples, clinical data, and longitudinal records, The Raine Study is a cornerstone of population health research, contributing to policy, practice, and scientific advancement both nationally and internationally.
We are seeking a visionary and strategic leader for the Director of The Raine Study. You will provide overall strategic, scientific, stakeholder, and operational leadership, ensuring the long-term sustainability and impact of the cohort. You will lead the development and execution of strategic plans, oversee governance and operational performance, and champion a culture of scientific excellence. You will work closely with the Board, Participant Council, and philanthropic partners to strengthen the reputation of The Raine Study and develop a sustainable framework for the protection and continuation of our cohort in the future. You will also guide the research team in generating high-impact outputs, fostering collaboration, and promoting findings that influence public policy and health outcomes.
