Dedicated Disability Support Worker- Immediate Start (Malvern)
We are seeking a caring and reliable Disability Support Worker to provide community and social support for a client based in Malvern. This role involves accompanying the client to local outings such as movies, music/disco events, and other community-based activities.
About you
You are a compassionate, reliable, and dedicated individual with a real passion to make a difference to the lives of the people with disability. As the successful candidate you will possess the following:
- A strong understanding of the NDIS and participant support requirements
- Local to the Malvern area (essential)
- The ability to communicate and appropriately respond to the needs of people with disability
- Passion for building strong relationships and rapport with participants
- Ability to work as part of a team and independently
- Ability to complete detailed and accurate documentation
- First Aid Certificate
- Manual handling Certificate
- Drivers License
- Comprehensive Car Insurance
- NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
- Working with Children Check
- Proof of Covid-19 Vaccination
- Legal working rights in Australia
