The role

We are currently looking for experienced and passionate Domestic Assistants across Bouvard, Dawesville, Falcon, Halls Head, Hamel, Herron, Lake Clifton, Preston Beach, Wannanup and Waroona . We have permanent part-time roles available, offering fixed hours. Our busiest period of care delivery is between Monday- Friday, 9:00am – 3:00pm. Our Domestic Assistants support clients to undertake domestic tasks in the home such as prescribed within the care/support plan enhancing and encouraging participation in their own care to maintain their independence, where possible. Responsibilities include a range of domestic tasks incl. making their beds, ironing, laundry, dusting, vacuuming and mopping the floor, with some social support in the community. Domestic Assistants will follow a predetermined schedule, travelling from home to home, therefore having unrestricted access to a vehicle and the ability to follow a digital schedule and care plan autonomously, via a mobile app, will be essential.

Servicing the following suburbs: Bouvard, Dawesville, Falcon, Halls Head, Hamel, Herron, Lake Clifton, Preston Beach, Wannanup and Waroona

About you

• 3-6 months Domestic/Industrial cleaning experience
• A valid Drivers’ License with unrestricted access to a registered vehicle which is appropriately insured and in good condition, is essential.
• Ability and willingness to work autonomously in the community, travelling from home to home, referring to a digital schedule and care plan, via a mobile app, will be essential.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication (verbal & written) skills are essential.
