Green Squirrel Cleaning is looking for a friendly new member to join their team!
- Clean homes in a team of two across the western and inner suburbs of Melbourne.
- All products, equipment, uniform and vehicle provided.
- Flexible rotating roster with daytime hours only.
- On average 1 to 3 shifts per week depending on availability. This can increase in time if you wish.
- Predominately weekday shifts only with the occasional weekend shift if available.
- Paid hourly in line with cleaning services award + superannuation.
- Fully insured including work cover.
- Must be able to get to Caroline Springs by 8-8:30am, occasionally later.
- Shift finish times vary but you must be available until at least 5pm on the days that you say you can work.
What we need from you:
- Right to Work in Australia
- Be over the age of 18
- Positive, can-do attitude and willingness to learn.
- Commitment to quality high standards and efficiency.
- Teamwork and good communication skills.
- Intermediate level of Verbal and Written English.
- Police Check (Required to be offered a trial shift)
- Working with Children Check (Must have at least applied before becoming a regular team member)
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (Must have applied for within 1 month of start date)
- Professional cleaning experience a bonus but not a necessity.
- Australian Driving licence and the confidence to drive our vehicle. (If you have an international licence you will need to provide proof that you have applied to convert it to an Australian one before you can start working with us. Please Note: Depending on the country your current driving licence was issued in you may need to re-sit your driving test. This needs to be booked in advance).
- Proof of right to work in Australia. Citizenship or Visa with work rights stated.
PLEASE NOTE: A lot of our clients have friendly dogs and cats in their homes, and we cannot guarantee others won’t get one or be pet sitting for someone else. We always ask clients to keep their pets contained during their service, but we cannot always control the environment you will be working in as much as we would like. We will never send any employee to a property where we believe an animal is dangerous. However, if you are highly allergic or very scared of dogs and cats this position is NOT for you.
