About The Role
WWS is seeking a skilled and reliable Drainer to assist with pipework for water and wastewater projects. As a Drainer you will play a vital role with the installation and maintenance of essential drainage infrastructure that serves our clients. Our workshop is located in Henderson but this role will require travel to remote sites throughout Western Australia. This is a full-time position that offers stability, competitive pay, and opportunities for professional development.
What You'll Be Doing
- Assist with sewer and stormwater drainage pipework installation.
- Trench excavation for installation of pipework.
- Repair pipes, drains, and sewerage systems.
- Accurately interpret site plans and specifications for work orders.
- Identify and escalate when issues arise.
- Be a team member to ensure projects are delivered on time.
- Practice safe operating methods at all times.
What We're Looking For
- Experience in drainage or civil construction.
- Strong technical skills and practical problem-solving abilities.
- Familiarity with drainage systems, tools, and equipment
- Ability to read construction plans and interpret specifications.
- Strong work ethic and commitment to safe work practices.
- Ability to travel (remote site locations – FIFO).
- White Card and valid WA driver’s license.
