We are a 59 place long day care centre. At Learning Land For Kids we want to provide our children and families an extended family feeling, so our children feel the security, warmth and love essential to their development and growth. With a strong focus on pedagogy in our learning practices, we can support all children at our centre as they develop confidence and learning strategies which will support a love of learning for life.
About the role:
As a room leader at Learning Land for Kids you will be responsible for the overall running of that room. You will ensure that you and the educators in your room are focussed on delivering and maintaining high quality care that stimulates children and aids each child's personal development and wellbeing. Other responsibilities include:
· Ensuring positive role modelling with all educators, casuals and trainees who enter the centre
· Creating an environment of open communication between you, the other educators, the children and their families, including listening to their needs and supporting or assisting where appropriate in ensuring the health and safety of children and providing care and supervision
· Co-ordinate the preparation of educational aids to deliver innovative and high-quality educational programs for each individual child
· Create and co-ordinate varied play and learning activities
· Contributing to the team of passionate educators within your room whilst incorporating best practice at all times
· Ensuring learning and development is consistent with the EYLF/VEYLDF
· Supporting a culture of reflective practice and continuous improvement
· Developing respectful relationships with and between children and with families to support each child's learning.
· Acting within the requirements of the Centres Code of Conduct, Child safety and wellbeing policy and complaints policy.
About you:
You are a hard working, passionate and fun loving Diploma trained early childhood educator. You are an excellent communicator and have the ability to co-ordinate a developmentally appropriate program that will inspire the children in our care to reach their full potential. You will also:

· Be able to ensure positive role modelling at all times
· Be an open communicator
· Be reliable
· Have the ability to adapt to change in order to continuously improve
Some finer details about the role:
This role is a full time permanent role. Renumeration will commensurate with experience and the range is $70,000 to $80,000. You will work 8 hour shifts. We work within a rotating roster. Our centre is open Monday to Friday 6 :45 am to 6:15pm.
