Early Childhood Educator - Certificate III or Diploma in Children's Services

Child Care Australia United Ltd is a not-for-profit organisation with an impressive history in providing child care services to children and families across the Sutherland Shire. We currently seek a person who is self-motivated, hands-on, with sound time-management skills in supporting the delivery of a quality educational program for children whilst building relationships with families and key stakeholders in our community. The successful candidate will be supported by a quality-focused director and management team.
Your role
- Certificate III or Diploma in Children's services (ACECQA approved)
- Hold a current First Aid, child protection, WWCC, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certificates.
- Shift work between 7.00am and 6.00pm
Responsibilities
- Actively contribute to the education program in the room and the centre team
- Engage and supervise the children at all times
- Supervising the daily routine of children
- Supervising the hygiene of children
- Maintain a safe environment for children, families and team members
- Build and maintain strong, positive relationships with children and families
- Comply with National Quality Standards and the service policies and procedures
- Support a culture of reflective practice and ongoing continuous improvement
