The Role:
The eCommerce Coordinator is responsible for the day-to-day maintenance of Hype DC's eCommerce websites in Australia and New Zealand. This role assists with product enrichment and various ad hoc tasks. An integral role with the eCommerce team, the coordinator contributes to the execution of the digital strategy, ensuring a seamless and superior online shopping experience for customers.
Your key responsibilities include but not limited to:
Website & Content Management
• Maintain and update the Hype DC AU and NZ eCommerce websites, ensuring accurate product listings, pricing, imagery, and promotional content.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to implement campaign assets, landing pages, and blog content, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines.
• Conduct regular site audits to identify and rectify issues such as broken links, outdated content, and SEO optimization opportunities.
Product & Inventory Coordination
• Liaise with the merchandise and planning teams to manage product enrichment processes, ensuring timely and accurate uploads of new products and releases.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with relevant teams to optimize stock availability and minimize out-of-stock scenarios.
• Analyse return rates and provide insights to improve product descriptions and reduce return occurrences.
Marketing & Promotional Support
• Assist in the execution of marketing campaigns, including the setup and removal of online promotions, ensuring synchronization with in-store activities.
• Support the creation and scheduling of email marketing campaigns, collaborating with the CRM team to enhance customer engagement.
• Develop and implement content strategies for product launches and promotional events across digital channels.
Customer Experience & Support
• Act as a liaison between the eCommerce team and customer service, addressing operational and product-related inquiries to enhance the online shopping experience.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement initiatives aimed at improving site usability and customer satisfaction.
• Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) for new website features and functionalities, ensuring optimal performance and user experience.
Reporting & Analysis
• Contribute to the preparation of daily, weekly, and monthly sales and performance reports, providing actionable insights to inform strategic decisions.
• Monitor key website metrics, such as traffic sources, conversion rates, and on-site search behavior, to identify opportunities for optimization.
• Produce ad-hoc reports as required to support various eCommerce initiatives and projects.
What we are looking for:
• Minimum 1 year’s Ecom/ Marketing operations coordination
• Preferably footwear retail or wholesale background
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Can-do attitude, hands-on and responsive
• Able to prioritise and meet deadlines
• Work independently and as part of a team
• Highly self-driven with initiative to be hands-on to support wider team
• Analytical skills experience with Google Analytics (or similar)
• Organised with great communication skills
• Business degree/diploma preferable.
• MS Office (Intermediate)
