We are currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team long-term. We are looking for an Administrative Assistant who is comfortable using technology and has strong communication and organizational skills. The ideal candidate will be someone who is proactive, committed, and interested in growing with our center over the long term. Kindly note that candidate who are only looking to stay in this role for less than a year will not be considered.
Responsibilities:
- Manage student and tutor scheduling using internal systems
- Communicate with parents and students via email and phone in a professional manner
- Use applications such as Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets for data entry and tracking
- Help guide students and families through their academic journey by sharing progress updates and offering scheduling support
- Maintain records and ensure administrative tasks are completed in a timely manner
- Support the day-to-day operations of the center and collaborate with tutors as needed
- Occasional CRT shifts
Qualifications:
- Proficiency with technology, especially Microsoft Excel and other office applications
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Friendly, professional demeanor with a student- and family-first attitude
- Prior administrative or education-related experience preferred
- Must be available for a long-term position (minimum 2 years preferred)
Training for this role will be provided upon hiring.
Job Types: Part-time, Casual
Pay: $26.49 – $40.05 per hour
Expected hours: 3 – 20 per week
