Make a Difference - Education Support Trainee
Do you want to make a positive impact in the lives of young students? We're searching for a dedicated individual to join our team as an Education Support Trainee at a specialist primary school in Hoppers Crossing.
In this role, you'll work closely with students and teachers to provide care, assistance with emotional and physical support in the classroom. Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting teachers with planning student routines
- Communicating with students to support comprehension of tasks
- Addressing immediate behavioral needs of students
- Providing basic supervision for small groups of students
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience, compassion and ability to remain calm under pressure
- Capability to provide physical and emotional support to students
- Willingness to complete a Cert III in Education Support
