The Opportunity: Assistant Educator (Qualified)

• Schedule: Monday – Friday, 5 days per week
• Location: Ashgrove
• Hours: Up to 38 hours with flexibility

Your Responsibilities:

• Contribute to the care and education of children through supervision and engagement
• Prioritize children’s health and safety.
• Engage in joyful, educational activities, inspiring a love for learning.
• Build strong relationships with families and fellow educators.
• Hygiene and cleaning practices, nappies, mopping and tidy up

Qualifications:

• Sense of humour, strong work ethic, and reliability.
• A certificate 3 in Early Childhood Education or actively pursuing one.
• Current Qld Blue Card.
• Passion for promoting a healthy lifestyle and good nutrition for children.

About Us: The Woods Early Education Centre was recently awarded as Exceeding the NQF in all 7 areas. Located in Ashgrove, just 250 metres from Ashgrove State School. Our Centre opened in January 1998 and cares for up to 90 children aged from birth to 5 years. We are passionate about sustainability and love to explore these practices with the children in our care.
