The Role
The role will include the following duties:
- Accountable for leading a team, managing allocated resources and workflows, setting work area priorities, developing strategies, and evaluating business outcomes;
- You will also be accountable for accurate completion of work within timeframes and quality requirements;
- Plan, lead and manage the development, implementation and maintenance of business governance related activities for Defence;
- Implement ongoing improvements to Defence's governance frameworks consistent with policy and reform initiatives;
- Embed Performance Measurements to assist the program to develop the performance measures, targets, monitoring and reporting;
- Manage a variety of business, governance and reporting requirements including draft reports and briefings to the Executive, Minister and Committees;
- Analyse performance data and provide insights and recommendations for improvement;
- Collaborate with senior management and key stakeholders to gather input and ensure the plan reflects organisational priorities.
About our Team
The Defence Business Integration Program (the Program) was created to ensure the cumulative impacts of programs and projects deliver long term, enterprise-wide transformation. The Program supports the Associate Secretary in his role as Capability Manager to deliver critical business objectives including improving the consistency, efficiency and compliance of core enabling business functions and processes across the enterprise; and reducing the total cost of ownership of technical platforms supporting Defence’s enabling business capabilities through consolidation and standardisation.
