Main Duties/Responsibilities
- Support existing and future platforms
- Monitor and manage the uptime of Production & QA environment
- Perform day-to-day support and liaison with overseas counter parts to ensure around the sun coverage
- Investigate and resolve issues raised to the team
- Proactively Identify pain points and address them through various methods
o Automation
o Alerting
o Monitoring
- Develop support operational processes and procedures
Key Measures
- Successful delivery of work within agreed timescales
- Accurate delivery of agreed work
- Relevant alerts, clearly documented and executable
- Demonstrate ability to pick up new skills and techniques
- Produce regular support activities aligned with stakeholders
Working Conditions
- Rotating roster including weekends
- 10 hour shifts
- 6 weeks annual leave
Essential Educational and / or Training Qualifications & Certificates
- Tertiary qualification/s in a Information Technology related discipline is highly desirable
Preferred Experience and Knowledge
- Experience in the application support space
- Extensive knowledge in support principles including incident management, problem management, etc.,
- Desirable knowledge in server stack and website support
- Strong understanding of technical issue resolution
- Extensive knowledge in issue debugging, analysis and resolution
- Working knowledge of user journey via multiple tools
o Solace / Kafka
o Elastic / Grafana / Splunk
o Postgres / MSSQL
- Testing experience is a definite advantage
