About the Role
As an Enterprise Account Executive in the Manufacturing and Construction team, you will play a key role in driving digital transformation for strategic customers, with a focus on AI, Copilot, and Security solutions. Working across the full Microsoft portfolio and in close collaboration with a cross-functional team, you will engage senior stakeholders to deliver industry-relevant solutions that support customer business goals.
This is an exciting opportunity to bring your enterprise sales experience, customer obsession, and industry knowledge to a high-impact role. You’ll be empowered to build deep, lasting partnerships that unlock innovation and long-term value for your customers. This role offers flexible work arrangements, with the option to work up to 50% from home.

Qualifications

There will be many opportunities for you to learn and grow into this role and Microsoft. However, to be able to best deliver on the purpose of this role, these are the core skills and experiences you should have on day one:
  • 6+ years experience in account management, including the development and execution of strategic account plans.
  • Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years’ experience in a relevant industry or in leading digital transformation initiatives; or equivalent practical experience.
  • Background in industries such as Manufacturing, Construction, Government, or Education, or relevant experience in consulting or technology.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and orchestrate cross-functional virtual teams to deliver business outcomes.
  • Established track record as a trusted advisor to senior executives, with strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.

  • Own and manage the end-to-end customer relationship, serving as the primary point of contact for strategic engagement and long-term success.
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans aligned to customer priorities and Microsoft’s broader objectives.
  • Collaborate with the Account Technology Strategist (ATS) and account team to ensure business and technical alignment, with a strong focus on AI-driven transformation.
  • Build and nurture trusted advisor relationships with C-level decision-makers and senior business stakeholders.
  • Drive pipeline growth through relationship development, proactive customer engagement, and insights-led opportunity identification.
  • Lead commercial negotiations including pricing, licensing, and contract discussions in alignment with customer and business needs.
  • Orchestrate cross-functional virtual teams, including technical experts, partners, and services, to deliver comprehensive and integrated solutions.
  • Introduce innovative technologies that drive measurable business outcomes and inspire customer confidence in Microsoft’s capabilities.
  • Demonstrate active listening and strong business acumen to tailor transformation strategies based on customer insights.
  • Represent Microsoft with credibility and influence, leveraging your industry knowledge and thought leadership to drive impact.
